I'm an artist, a Christian, and a human. Do they have a pill for that?

I never want to break a bone in my hands.

Being an Artist, Running a Business, and Working on the Side to Pay Bills

This life isn't for the faint of heart, but I dare say it's for the blindingly disorganized. Some of the most prolific artists I know are a mess, like me, when it comes to organization and implementing certain strategies.

I'm about to get back on the sewing machine and work on a rush order a little before packing to get on the road.

Before packing I've got to get all my tax information together. In a FOLDER no less. I barely know how to use one of those. I'm actually quite terrified about getting all my paperwork together.

I'm off to visit the parents this weekend. Mom's an accountant and has been helping me with my taxes for several years now. Thank God for her generosity of time and talent.

So, in running this business, I have to work a side job to earn enough money to get by. Side jobs take time, so the orders I fill take some time subsequently. I do my best not to wait around, but to work on them little by little until they're done. That's why people don't get instantaneous turnaround with the stupid creatures

I am often tired after a day working at my side job, and sometimes the remains of the evening get away from me for various reasons, some good some bad.

But here I go. Back to the sewing machine. More later as it develops.
