Monday Morning, Present Day

Gosh I've got so much to do. Right now I feel pretty refreshed even though I kept waking up last night. I don't have insomnea or anything, I just had a Star Trek DVD playing in my laptop on the nightstand. You know how sometimes DVD menus play a minute or so of music or sound effects while you choose what you're gonna do? All the Star Trek ones have sound effects to match whatever ship the action takes place on.

So throughout the night I'd wake up, select an episode and promptly fall asleep to the dronings of Captain Kirk and the demure elocutions of the underdressed female officers. Hours later I'd find my dreams incorporating the beeps and whirs and clicks of the Constitution Class starship that played the role of the Enterprise in that original series. It's kind of neat. I love Star Trek and can think of far worse things I'd like infiltrating my dreams.

Anyway, here I am at my graphics job and the assignments are rolling in. Better do 'em. When I get home I'm going to finish my train for a show I'm doing. Visit http://www.allcitystyle.com/ for details on this kind of thing. I'm waaaay behind getting my train done, but I'm optimistic. Later..
